Black Shuck • Pin

Black Shuck, or simply Shuck, is the name given to a ghostly black dog with fiery eyes which is said to roam the coastline and countryside of East Anglia and visits churchyards at midnight. Black dogs in folklore are regarded as malevolent omens of death however some are said to behave benevolently, guiding or protecting travelers.
